1840 One Penny Black, Plate 2, a superb marginal inscription example lettered AL from the upper right of the sheet showing part inscription “…ove the Cement” used on entire locally in London and cancelled by a superb and upright strike of the Black experimental Cross.

1840 Mulready to Southampton dated 8/4/43, additionally franked with a superb imperf 1841 1d. red plate 33 on blued paper, lettered IE, neatly tied by a fine strike of the number “10” in black Maltese cross, the Mulready uncancelled contrary to regulations, a major exhibition show piece.
