The Egypt specialised sale, held online last Friday, exceeded our expectations to achieve EUR 375’000, with 85% of the lots sold. The hammer prices average of the 151 lots sold had successfully reached 280% of the estimates.

This exciting auction of Egypt presented 180 lots showing much of the very popular issues from the Royal period of Fouad & Farouk, with unique proofs, essays, control blocks from the Royal collection, commemoratives, definitives, airmails etc., plus a unique and never before offered array of imperforate errors showing printers coloured streaks.

These fantastic results demonstrated once again the strength of David Feldman Auctions to achieve for their clients the leading prices of the market.
