1873 Letter from Canea (Oct. 8/20, 1873) to Syros franked with a blue François-Joseph 10 soldi. Black “PP” for “Partially Paid”. The Greek domestic rate of 20 lepta for a letter up to 15 grams was paid at the arrival disembarkement harbour, written on blue pencil, with a 20 lepta of the 1871/1872 printings. The 20 lepta with good to large margins. Signed Calves and Holcombe.
