Lot 65911 – 1900-05 Arms Issue Small format, group of three De La Rue strking book pieces

1895-99 and 1900-05 Arms (small format) group of 3 striking book pieces, one with master die proof with blank value tablet in black on glazed card initialled “JP” in margin, together with stamp-size die proofs of the “3 CENTS ” duty tablet with ms “Mauritius”, dated June 29 and July 3 1895 respectively, one piece with cut-down proofs of the 1c, 2c, 4c, 5c, 8c, 15c, 18c, 25c and 50c value tablets each with manuscript “Mauritius” at top and dated Jan 28 1897, and finally 6c cut-down value tablet dated June 1 1899, each giving details of leads taken, unique^items; ex De La Rue archives, Marion, Sir Gawaine Baillie and “Port Louis”.
