Lot 65911 – 1900-05 Arms Issue Small format, group of three De La Rue strking book pieces

1895-99 and 1900-05 Arms (small format) group of 3 striking book pieces, one with master die proof with blank value tablet in black on glazed card initialled « JP » in margin, together with stamp-size die proofs of the « 3 CENTS  » duty tablet with ms « Mauritius », dated June 29 and July 3 1895 respectively, one piece with cut-down proofs of the 1c, 2c, 4c, 5c, 8c, 15c, 18c, 25c and 50c value tablets each with manuscript « Mauritius » at top and dated Jan 28 1897, and finally 6c cut-down value tablet dated June 1 1899, each giving details of leads taken, unique^items; ex De La Rue archives, Marion, Sir Gawaine Baillie and « Port Louis ».
