Lot 50146 – 1943 (Nov. 23) Cover to Bergamo (Italy), airmail 2L on genuinely travelled cover

1943 (Nov. 23) Cover to Bergamo (Italy), franked by airmail 2L blue, tied by “Zara/(Arrivi e Partenze)” cds, repeated alongside, with German “Ueberprueft” censorship’s straight line and accompanying “1” censor’s mark in blue at left (occasionally and rarely applied on Zara’s envelopes -not postcards- during the German occupation), backstamped on arrival. An extremely rare usage of this high denomination on genuinely travelled mail. In very fine condition. Cert. Brunel (2022).
