Lot 50146 – 1943 (Nov. 23) Cover to Bergamo (Italy), airmail 2L on genuinely travelled cover

1943 (Nov. 23) Cover to Bergamo (Italy), franked by airmail 2L blue, tied by « Zara/(Arrivi e Partenze) » cds, repeated alongside, with German « Ueberprueft » censorship’s straight line and accompanying « 1 » censor’s mark in blue at left (occasionally and rarely applied on Zara’s envelopes -not postcards- during the German occupation), backstamped on arrival. An extremely rare usage of this high denomination on genuinely travelled mail. In very fine condition. Cert. Brunel (2022).
