1811 (February 20th) Folded entire from Arran Quay to Blackpitts (bankruptcy of Beresford & Ball) sent within the Dublin Penny Post, showing a black clear strike of the 2-line “QUENN ST / PENNY POST” with unusual error for QUENN for QUEEN, and “1” hs of the Dublin Penny Post, the letter is backstamped with a deep red oval “8 O’CLOCK Mn” timestamp and a brown “FE 21” ds, a very fine and extremely rare showpiece. This is one of the two usages yet recorded of the QUENN error.
