1930 World Cup collection of Uruguay special cancellations and other items for celebrating their victory, mounted on pages, incl. airmail cover with “Campeonato Mundial de Football” legend, picture postcard of the stadium with World Cup legend (sent in December of that year), two covers with “URUGUAY CONGREGARA EN 1930 A TODOS LOS FOOTBALLERS DEL MUNDO” slogan cancel, two with forged “URUGUAY ORGANIZA EL PREMIER CAMPEONATO MUNDIAL DE FOOTBALL”, one with forged “EL CAMPEONATO MUNDIAL DE FOOTBALL SERA UN CERTAMEN DE CONFRATERNIDAD” and four + 1 front with “EN 1930 EUROPA Y AMERICA DISPUTARA SUPREMACIAS EN FOOTBALL”, plus some modern commemorative stamps and printed pictures, plus some ppc’s of the boat that took the French team, several with forged cancels, a great collection of these difficult football cancellations
