1930 World Cup collection of Uruguay special cancellations and other items for celebrating their victory, mounted on pages, incl. airmail cover with « Campeonato Mundial de Football » legend, picture postcard of the stadium with World Cup legend (sent in December of that year), two covers with « URUGUAY CONGREGARA EN 1930 A TODOS LOS FOOTBALLERS DEL MUNDO » slogan cancel, two with forged « URUGUAY ORGANIZA EL PREMIER CAMPEONATO MUNDIAL DE FOOTBALL », one with forged « EL CAMPEONATO MUNDIAL DE FOOTBALL SERA UN CERTAMEN DE CONFRATERNIDAD » and four + 1 front with « EN 1930 EUROPA Y AMERICA DISPUTARA SUPREMACIAS EN FOOTBALL », plus some modern commemorative stamps and printed pictures, plus some ppc’s of the boat that took the French team, several with forged cancels, a great collection of these difficult football cancellations
