Description

1841 1d red pl.5 NG/PL, from the “black” plates, a superb mint marginal inscriptional block of 18 from the right of the sheet with full deckle edge, showing part inscription “Back be careful not to remove the Cement”, almost all with mint never hinged original gum, regarded as the finest piece in private hands of this plate, a great rarity.
