1840 1d black pl. 1b JJ with 3 margins on large piece with faint strike of red MC, dispatched from Lincoln, with crisp strike of black MC applied upon arrival in London (presumably as a result of the Post Office’s attempts to deter re-use). A scarce and unusual item.
