Lot 41596 – Morrocco Agencies/ Tangier 1937 zeppelin flight cover to New York, cancelled in Gibraltar

Morocco Agencies: 1937 (May 4) registered cover to USA with multiple KEVIII franking, with red “MAIL VIA AIRSHIP HINDENBURG” labels, both erased and with very rare two-line handstamp “NO SERVICE AIRSHIP HINDENBURG/ GIBRALTAR 6 MY 37” struck on the day of the Hindenburg crash, a fine and important item of Zeppelin history.
