1948, Centenary of the Death of Ibrahim Pasha In 1948 it was decided to issue a commemorative for the death centenary of Ibrahim Pasha. A presentation card, dated June 9, 1948, with three essays, one vertical and two horizontal, was prepared. The vertical design is a photographic essay of a portrait of Ibrahim Pasha as a statesman with the inscriptions hand-painted in white. The two horizontal essays are entirely hand-painted. One shows the city and port of Acre on the Palestinian coast. The other shows the Naval battle at Acre, where Ibrahim Pasha defeated the Turks.
