1870 (Jun 7) envelope from Seychelles to Utah, USA, with Mauritius 1860-63 9d block of four tied by very good strikes of the “B64” barred ovals, reverse with two Seychelles despatch cds (one with inverted code B), with London transit along with New York entry and “4” charge hs, envelope with some minor cosmetic reparations with the block having been folded over the edge for sending and the envelope since refolded to improve its appearance. A rare double rate usage, and a showpiece item of Mauritius used in the Seychelles.
