1961 SWAMI VIVEKANANDA Original artwork for stamps made by Mr Pradhan who worked at De La Rue, London office for Indian stamps. Even after end of British rule in India the Indian Security Press at Nasik regularly met with De la Rue officials for artist feedback and idea sharing. This artwork originated during those meetings and shows the fine line drawing of SWAMI VIVEKANANDA signed Pradhan, 1961. The design was used in the 1963 (SG464) stamp of India . The original archival artwork, in black ink on a scratch board, measures 205x272mm. A must for any India collector and a perfect exhibition showpiece. UNIQUE item.
