1845-48 correspondence from an Officer in India to his mother in Forres, Scotland, incl. 1845 entire with framed INDIA PAID handstamp, similar envelope but with red Gwallior Paid handstamp with manuscript, a similar envelope with India Paid erased as only 8a pair, similar 1846 entire with full 12a paid, 1846 envelope from Agra with framed date stamp on reverse, India in oval on front, 1847 envelope with Bombay forwarding agents handstamp and two further covers from Gwallior, all with arrival date stamps; good to fine condition
