1887 2c. on 13c. wing-margin strip of three in combination with 1880 13c. wing-margin pair, on 1888 (1 June) envelope registered from Beau-Bassin to Paris, all cancelled by “27” obliterator, showing “registered/mauritius” oval d.s. and “ligne t/paq. fr. no 4” octagonal d.s., both in red, with despatch and arrival datestamps on reverse; the envelope with central vertical fold. A very scarce franking.
