Lot 70165 – 1860-63 6d. slate, unused without gum, handstamped

1860-63 6d. slate, unused without gum, handstamped “SPECIMEN” diagonally in red serifed characters (Samuel type HK1), extremely rare with this being the only known example on this value, with a single copy of the 1/- green being recorded. An important item for both Mauritius and Hong Kong philately. Cert B.P.A (2001).
