1d. dull vermilion, large to huge margins, light barred oval cancel, on merchant’s cover from Port Louis to France by the vessel “Salsette” (last voyage), via Suez, MAURITUS GPO despatch for MR 8 1860 on flap, most likely sent as printed matter, very fine.

An extremely rare usage with only 3 single frankings known (two printed matters and one soldier cover).
