1858-62 1s vermilion, close to very large margins, in combination with 1862 4d. carmine with wing-margin, on 1862 (5 Apr.) double rate envelope to Bordeaux, marked “Suez & Marseille”, both cancelled by “B53” obliterator, showing red unframed “p.d.” and Marseilles entry c.d.s. with, on reverse, despatch and arrival datestamps, an attractive combination usage.
