1858-62 9d magenta, good to large margins, on 1860 (5 Apr.) envelope from Grand Bay to London, tied by concentric circles and showing “1” crayon colonial credit, on reverse, fine Type D2 framed despatch d.s. of “Grand Bay/5.AP.60″, extremely rare.One of two recorded examples from this office.
