Description

2d. blue on bluish, intermediate impression, positions 1/4/7/10, complete vertical sheet marginal row of four including position 7 showing the “PENOE” error on the third stamp, part sheet margins at left and foot, top stamp barely touched on one corner, cancelled light numeral “1”, two tiny pinholes and shallow thinning.

A most remarkable and impressive multiple (SG £22’500 as singles), exhibition showpiece.
