1864 1d red pl.79, variety imperforate, placed sideways (contrary to regulations) on envelope locally used in Dublin, neatly tied by 186 Dublin duplex dated Nov 18/68; a very fine example of this rare error which is a new discovery and quite possibly the finest known used on cover extant. Mike Jackson Certificate (2021) (S.G. £2’500 for used single).
