1842 (Aug) large outer wrapper (refolded for display) sent from Yeovil (Somerset) to lawyer Robert Lucas in Bloomsbury Square, London, franked with 1840 2d blue pl.2 irregular block of 9, strip of four and pair (with varieties on KG, KJ, KL and LA), all with clear margins except for KK at foot, paying the 1s8d rate for up to 10oz, cancelled by black Maltese Crosses with Yeovil despatch and London arrival, filing fold affecting LA and MA.The largest known franking of the 1840 2d blue on cover.
