Description
1840 1d black pl.1b RE-RH, two horizontal pairs (originally a strip of four) with huge margins (RH with scissor cut very near frameline), showing a portion of two adjoining stamps at upper right, neatly tied to small piece by very fine strikes of the red Maltese cross, a wonderfully fresh and most attractive piece. Rare so fine.
