1871 Escuelas 1r rose bisect, 5th printing, transfer type 2, an unauthorised but tolerated use of bisect 1r to pay the 5 centavos rate for a single letter, stamp ideally tied by circular La Guaira cds on cover to Caracas, dated inside 31 May 1873; a very fine and extremely rare usage (according to the Knut Heister handbook, this stamp is very rare in unused condition with only 5 singles recorded), signed Calves.
