Description
1936 Letter from Taif to Cairo, via Jeddah, bearing 1/2g red (x4; one stamp defective) on back and 3 1/2g blue on front of the 1934 Tughra issues, all stamps tied by Al Taif cds, Cairo arrival machine cancel 15 June 1936. An unusual franking on a cover with several folds and tears, sent to the first Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Fawzan Al Sabek.
