1856ca. envelope from Jerusalem to Vienna, sent before the post office there was open and showing a most unusual manuscript “Jerusalem” above two-line BEYRUT/ 17. Nov. date stamp, at right manuscript 12/9 charge paying the 21 kreuzer due (9 inland and 12 sea mail), arrival backstamp.
