Description
Timisoara Provisional Overprint on Hungary 10f Stationery Postcard: card bearing the extremely rare violet overprint “10 Bani”, Arms and “Romania/CARTE POSTALA” on Hungarian stationery pc, sent on 3/5/1920, cancelled by a faint strike of the Temesvar cds in black to Germany, bearing the Timisoara and Cernauti (Bukovina, now in Ukraine) censorship marking. The item has some creases, otherwise very fine. A real, correct rate circulation made by a stamp dealer, of this extremely elusive card with only 10-15 pieces recorded. Valued in the Savoiu (2022) stationery catalogue at 1’500€. Very rare. Auction
