1903 ‘Effigies’/Palace Post set: unfinished/undenominated die proof of unadopted design, inscribed “MCM” (1900) at top, instead of the adopted “MCMI” (1901) in black on thin yellowish card. Unrecorded by Cohen. Rare, very fine condition. Auction
