Lot 81011 – 1864 Accompanying letter for a parcel weighing ~9k

1864 Accompanying letter for a parcel weighing ~9kg for a trunk containing 120 packs of playing cards valued at 900 lei sent on 28/10/1864 from Iasi to Galati, arrival 1/11, via Tecuci (30/10). The item bears the “curtain”/”drapery” dated postmark of Iasi and also the C2 FRANCO JASSY marking used for money sendings or parcels, with the inscribed value of 18 lei and 12 parale, paid by the sender. A few file folds and repaired tears along them, but marking very fine, a scarce entire.
