Lot 80956 – 1860 10kop deep blue and rose on embossed floral Ladies envelope from Rypin to Warsaw

1860 10kop deep blue and rose, a very fine example used on embossed floral Ladies envelope to Warsaw, tied by scarce ‘251’ concentric ring numeral handstamp with bilingual RYPIN despatch handstamp and manuscript date alongside. Struck on reverse with Warsawa arrival cds (29/7) and framed ‘3/P’ time code, both in red. Small closed tear in envelope at base mentioned for full accuracy only. A delightful and very fine item, one of only two known usages of the Poland no.1 on embossed “valentine” cover.
