1896 Olympics set of 12 on a large cover addressed to the Consul of Spain in Candia, Crete, tied by boxed maritime ‘PLEINE MER’ cancel, reverse with a red wax seal from the Spain Embassy, missing small portion of reverse.
Extremely rare complete set on cover sent through the mails and a unique exhibition showpiece of major importance for an Olympic collection.
