1876-1884 Two covers from Pireas (Jan. 24/Feb.6, 1876) to Genova (Jan. 31/Feb. 11, 1876) via Brindisi (Jan. 29/Feb. 9, 1876) franked at the U.P.U. rate of 30 lepta for a letter up to 15 grams (single rate). Black “PD” for “Paid to Destination”. The 20 lepta is from the meshed papers printings (1871/1876) and the 10 lepta from the cream papers with “control numbers” printings (1875/1880), both with good to large margins. 2. Letter from Patras (Jun. 27/Jul. 9, 1884) to Napoli (Jun. 29/Jul. 11, 1884) via Brindisi (Jun. 29/Jul. 11, 1884) franked at the U.P.U. rate of 25 lepta for a letter up to 15 grams (single rate). The 5 lepta with the plate flaw of the “cercle mince”. The 5 lepta is from the cream papers without “control number” (1880/1886) and the 20 lepta from the change of colours printings (1882) both with good to large margins.
