1884 Two Newspapers
1. Newspaper dated on May 3, 1884, posted from Athens on May 3, 1884 franked with a marginal 1 lepton from the cream papers without “control number” printings (1880/1886).
A part of the band is still on the paper and the stamp has good margins.
2. Fragment of a newspaper (dated on Nov. 16th, 184) franked from Athens at 1 lepton
(rate for a newspaper/periodic up to 30 grams for inland & international).
A part of the strip is kept below the stamp. Good margins. Catalogue ref: Hellas 53c/15b
