1840-1860s, world collection in Lallier English-language album, Paris 1867 (from the 7th French edition) a very fresh intact classic album (339 numbered pages) with many stamps inserted. The album is in wonderful condition, bound in half red leather. Containing good range France from 1849, good GB from 1840. Denmark, Sweden (with 1855 3, 6, 24 sk values) Italian States, etc. Very many better stamps spotted and this lot deserves a thorough viewing. Stamps are glued to pages and exhibit the usual mix of quality that we expect from such old-time collection. A fascinating intact collection from the dawn of stamp collecting housed in one of the first English-language stamp albums.
