Collection: Balance group of 8 covers, 5 fronts and cancels with the 1894 (Jan), 1894 (May) and 1897-98 issues, with some used in Southern Nigeria, noted a 1903 Southern Nigeria postal stationery wrapper uprated with 6d pair and 2d sent via Paquebot and cancelled in Plymouth in transit (cover discoloured), 1898 cover sent registered to Sierra Leone with 5d tied by violet Opobo River, two covers from Foracados River, repaired cover with 1894 (May) set of 6 tied by “REGISTERED” cds, Southern Nigeria 1d stationery front with Niger Coast, Southern Nigeria and GB mixed franking, plus a small group of interesting cancels incl. 2 1/2d pair with French “LOANGO A MARSEILLE” paquebot ds, etc.
