1895 (Jun 29) envelope from Mombasa to Germany with 1890-95 2 1/2a tied by Mombasa cds, reverse with Zanzibar transit where it was placed on the French mailboat S.S. Djemnah, with “LA REUNION A MARSEILLE / LV. No2” octagonal paquebot ds adjacent, Fallersleben arrival bs, a fine and very late usage with this cover being part of the last consignment of mail during the IBEA Company period (administrative control in BEA passed to the Crown on 1st July); ex Rossiter.
