1937, Walter Till Essay: Irish Elk 2s6d, stamp size essay, coloured bromide in black and red mounted on thick card and hand coloured, attractive and very rare, apparently only one other coloured essay is recorded, showpiece. Note: Walter Till was the artist responsible for the 1922 Dollard “Angel and Trumpet” essay.
