1937, Walter Till Essay: Irish Elk 2s6d, stamp size essay, bromide in black mounted on thick card and hand coloured, attractive and very rare, apparently only one other coloured essay is recorded, showpiece. Note: Walter Till was the artist responsible for the 1922 Dollard “Angel and Trumpet” essay.
