1829 (2.1) Folded entire sent from Demerara, British Guiana addressed to Hugh McCalmont in Belfast, rated manuscript “1/3” and a fine strike of the red fancy crowned “SHIP LETTER / DUBLIN / 16 FE 16 / 1829” ds, fine and very scarce

Note: The letter describes a devastating fire that destroyed the McCalmont company premises and stock
