1828 (17.5) Miniature folded entire from Blackrock to Mountjoy Square, prepaid with “2” hs in black paying the “Twopenny Post” and clearly struck by the BLACK * ROCK/PENNY POST 2-line hs in black, very fine and scarce

Note: The Two Penny post was an extension of the Dublin Penny Post conducted by the rules and officials of the Penny Post. The service was extended in 1774 to 4 miles and in 1819 to 6 miles a further one penny being charged on the delivery of each letter.
