1808 (10.12) Folded letter sheet sent locally within Dublin from Lord Annesley then living at Marlborough Street, addressed to Merrion Square, put in Dublin Penny Post and showing NOT PAID handstamp, hence on payment of the “1” penny the letter was delivered in the evening and struck with the 2-line PENNY POST/EVENING, both marking in the same red ink, an extremely rare usage
