1793 (29.9) Folded letter sheet from Armagh to Dublin and redirected to Carlow, franked with manuscript Free John Richardson/Armagh September thirtieth, and showing a straight line ARMAGH and an unframed WRONG DATE both in red, alongside manuscript wrong date 29 Sept. followed by an Inspector’s GR/CROWN, the free delivery was disallowed and rated “4” but subsequently was also disallowed with additional inspectors’ CROWN and redirected to Carlow and recharged “8”, an important postal history item for the connoisseur
