1889 (Dec 24) QV 1c green postal stationery card from Swatow to the American Presbyterian Mission Press in Shanghai, cancelled by rare Swatow cds (Webb type D, who states that “only two examples of this cancellation are known on cover” and rated as RR in the Patrick Pearson scarcity guide), reverse with “Shanghae” arrival cds, a superb example of this rare cancellation.
