Great Britain. 1874 (Oct 31) Entire from Manchester to Caracas with 1867-80 2s deep blue tied by “498” barred numeral, taken to Southampton and put aboard RMSPC SS “Moselle” as endorsed at top, carried to St. Thomas where it was transferred to a non-contract ship to La Guayra and on to Caracas (no arrival), a very fine usage of the 2s to an unusual destination.
