1864 Cover front from Bogota to France, with 1863 10c blue tied by oval “BOGOTA” hs, paying the internal letter rate, most likely carried to the British P.O. of Santa Martha and put aboard the RMSP “Tyne” to St. Thomas and onward to Southampton on RMSP “Shannon”, with “GB/1F60c” accountancy hs, French entry and “8” decimes charge hs, filing fold affecting franking; only three items are known bearing this value addressed to a transatlantic destination; cert.
