1901 (Jan 15) Registered commercial envelope from Shanghai to Bukhara (Uzbekistan), endorsed via Odessa and with Farsi inscription incl. “good luck” (arrowed), bearing Russian ordinary 1889 10k in combination with 1899 overprinted 5k, tied by “SHANKHAI/POCHTOV. KONTORA” cds (T&S type 2), neatly struck also at lower right, with Russian Shanghai registration label on reverse, as well as Granitsa and TPO Charjuy-Tashkent cds’s, a rare mixed franking.
