1901 (Jan 15) Registered commercial envelope from Shanghai to Bukhara (Uzbekistan), endorsed via Odessa and with Farsi inscription incl. « good luck » (arrowed), bearing Russian ordinary 1889 10k in combination with 1899 overprinted 5k, tied by « SHANKHAI/POCHTOV. KONTORA » cds (T&S type 2), neatly struck also at lower right, with Russian Shanghai registration label on reverse, as well as Granitsa and TPO Charjuy-Tashkent cds’s, a rare mixed franking.
